How We Trade

Our Role in the Supply Chain

YNV Group Limited acts as a wholesale trading intermediary. We sit between upstream suppliers (manufacturers, importers, or producers) and downstream business buyers (retailers, distributors, and other trade buyers).

We do not manufacture goods. We do not provide services. Our business generates income entirely through the buying and reselling of physical goods at wholesale prices.

Procurement

We source goods from:

  • UK-based manufacturers and producers
  • International importers and agents
  • Liquidation and clearance suppliers
  • Distributors offering bulk sale opportunities

Goods are purchased either to stock (held in a warehouse or fulfilment facility) or on a back-to-back basis, where procurement is tied directly to an existing confirmed buyer order.

All procurement is conducted with documented purchase orders, commercial invoices, and where applicable, import documentation.

Pricing and Margin

YNV Group Limited sets wholesale prices based on:

  • The cost of procuring the goods
  • Applicable logistics, handling, and storage costs
  • A wholesale trading margin applied to arrive at the buyer’s price
  • Market rates and competitive benchmarks for the relevant product category

The difference between our procurement cost and our wholesale selling price, minus operational costs, constitutes the company’s gross trading margin and primary source of revenue

Payment Terms

We operate on standard UK commercial trade terms:

• From buyers:

We typically require payment by bank transfer (BACS for domestic, SWIFT for international). Payment terms are stated on each commercial invoice and agreed in advance of order fulfilment.

• To suppliers:

We pay suppliers according to agreed terms, typically against invoice upon delivery or on credit terms where a formal supplier account is in place.

Documentation

For every wholesale transaction, YNV Group Limited issues and retains:

  • Purchase orders and supplier invoices (on the procurement side)
  • Commercial invoices and delivery notes (on the sales side)
  • Records of buyer identity and business verification where required

This documentation supports our obligations under UK company law and facilitates any regulatory or compliance review.

Compliance and Due Diligence

YNV Group Limited understands and complies with its obligations as a UK-registered trading business, including:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records as required under the Companies Act 2006
  • Filing annual accounts and confirmation statements with Companies House
  • Applying appropriate customer and supplier due diligence in line with UK commercial best practice
  • Operating within the applicable regulations for any specific product category traded (e.g. food safety, product safety, import/export controls)

We welcome due diligence enquiries from banks, payment providers, buyers, and suppliers and will provide supporting documentation as reasonably requested.
